My name is Scott.  I am relatively new to photography but have recently began taking it a bit more seriously.  I’ve focused much of my time on looking at other photographers’ work, and learning the technical aspect of photography. These two steps are part of the natural progression of developing one’s own style or artistic voice.   The unfortunate result is that most pictures begin to look like “Un-original Masterpieces”, or copies of other photographers’ work.

My photography and the process that leads to the final image has begun to evolve into something more personal and introspective.  My goal is to look at common objects, and photograph them in a way that highlights their simplicity.  I have developed this site to start tracking my progress.  My hope would be that my work, and comments about my work might be of interest to other aspiring photographers.
